Real-time body temperature monitoring - available around the clock

Available on the cobas® pulse system, the SteadyTemp App works exclusively with SteadyTemp sensor patches, an intelligent clinical thermometer that provides precise measurements with an accuracy of 0.1°C. The sensor patch continuously tracks and records body temperature readings for up to 10 days.

Medical professionals can seamlessly enter vital parameters into the SteadyTemp app, which also incorporates advanced decision-support features. The SteadyTemp patch is a single-use product and is CE-marked as a Class 2a medical device (according to MDR). The SteadyTemp system is proven in numerous clinical studies, and its technology ensures reliable monitoring while enhancing patient comfort and clinical efficiency, delivering critical insights that support timely, informed clinical decisions.

Smarter Monitoring, Greater Insight, Cost-Effectiveness

SteadyTemp continuously tracks body temperature, revealing important fluctuations and patterns that standard thermometers simply miss. From nighttime spikes to gradual increases, it provides a clear view of how temperature changes over hours or days.

Studies confirm that many health conditions are associated with specific temperature trends. With SteadyTemp, healthcare providers can detect early signs of imbalance, monitor patient progress, and respond quickly — all with greater accuracy and confidence.

Medical professionals can also manually enter key patient data such as pulse, oxygen saturation, administered medications, etc.

Trend & Statistics – Intelligent Insights at a Glance

The SteadyTemp App transforms continuous temperature data into clear, actionable insights. Instead of isolated readings, healthcare professionals gain access to high-resolution temperature curves, trend analyses, and historical comparisons that support better diagnostic and therapeutic decisions.

The integrated rule-based guidance system in the app simplifies clinical decision-making. Temperature limits can be set in advance based on individual patient needs. When these thresholds are reached, the notifications defined by doctors are sent, so nursing staff knows exactly what actions to take - right when it matters most.

Smooth Integration with Existing Clinical Workflows

SteadyTemp’s open system architecture enables seamless integration with existing point-of-care systems, medical devices, and software platforms. It uses standardized data transmission protocols (HL7/FHIR) to ensure secure communication with the hospital information system (HIS).

By combining health data, expert-defined rules, and easy integration into medical systems by the Roche Navify Integrator, SteadyTemp becomes a reliable assistant that ensures no time is lost when prompt action is required.
