CAEv – Computer Aided Evaluation was invented in 1991 in Germany to support the development and launch of diagnostic assays and instruments. After the second generation, WinCAEv (Windows-based version), WebCAEv is now the third generation (since 2021) developed by Roche Diagnostics to support diagnostic trials.

Each generation was completely new developed to fulfill the state of the art usability and design standards, but kept the successful backbone from standardized data entry to standardized and validated statistical reports following the CLSI guidelines.

During the last three decades the applications were used globally across more than 50 countries, at nearly 500 study sites by approx. 2,900 non-Roche study team members like Lab Technicians, Nurses etc.

WebCAEvSFA supports you by providing features such as:

• Automated statistical evaluation: run automated and validated statistical calculations. WebCAEvSFA currently supports the most commonly performed verification and validation experiments (Repeatability, Intermediate Precision, Method Comparison).

• Flexible data entry: either import your cobas® measurement data manually or through a file import function for backup files from the Roche cobas e and cobas c instruments.

• Validated and standardized reports: generate fully standardized, exportable verification documentation following international guidelines such as the CLSI.
