Nowadays we see a glucose meter, but I think in the future it (cobas® pulse system) is a smart, intelligent device which can even measure glucose and has the possibilities for patient identification or for the needs of the nurses in the wards, for example providing the weight or the fever curve.

We continue to work in collaboration with innovative third-party mobile health app providers* to expand our offering to include solutions in the areas of cardiology, dermatology, nursing process management and bed and hygiene management.

Clinical decision support

Advanced clinical decision support solutions available on cobas pulse such as GlucoTab that optimizes insulin therapy for diabetic patients. Another application, Glytec, provides comprehensive glycemic management and insulin dosing.

Pixacare and imitoWound support wound care with AI-powered medical photo management, enabling wound measurement and documentation to help facilitate early clinical decision-making across various medical settings. In addition to AI-supported wound assessment, Pixacare also provides tools for patient remote monitoring and is used as a data-collection solution in medical trials.
